The courses we play in Marrakech and Agadir

Marrakech, Al Maaden

The Al Maaden golf course is an 18-hole championship course with a Par 73 and an overall length of 6,569 meters (7,184 yards). It bears the signature of the famous architect Kyle PHILLIPS who knew how to combine the spirit of Morocco with an astonishing Scottish touch.

In addition to the course there is a 300 meter long driving range, a grass practice area, a putting and chipping green as well as practice bunkers. All this brought together to offer the complete practice package for both amateurs and experienced golfers alike.

Marrakech, Amelkis

The resort of Amelkis is located 10 minutes away from the centre of Marrakech, facing the Atlas Mountains. Adorned with lakes and palm trees, this luxurious golf resort is one of the most challenging among the courses in Marrakech.

Designed by Cabell B. Robinson, the Amelkis Golf Club is an exceptional 27 hole golf course, covering a total of 11,655 yards, with each loop of 9 ranging from 3,609 to 3,718 yards. It may offer wide fairways, but nature turns into a real challenge when wind, dunes, creeks and bushes complicate the game!

Marrakech, Royal Golf Club

The Royal Golf Marrakech was a favourite of the late King Hassan II and is the second oldest course in the Kingdom.

Designed by Gustave Golias and Arnaud Massy it opened in 1927. The old course at the Royal Golf Marrakech is an 18 hole par 72.

David Lloyd George, a British statesman, made numerous appearances at the course as did Winston Churchill, who played it several times before the Second World War. Later General Ike Eisenhower also played the course.

Agadir, Tazegzout

The Tazegzout course  is just 30 minutes from the city centre of Agadir and in the heart of the new seaside resort of Taghazout Bay. It offers golfers an 18-hole course combining the technicality and fun of the game.

Designed by Kyle Phillips, the course is located on a cliff 80m above sea level and offers spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the region’s specific argan forests at each hole.

The Club House is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a game and offers the same spectacular views from the terrace. Here you can find a wide selection of fine wines and beers with good food to match, making your time here a memorable experience.

Agadir, Ocean Course

The Ocean Golf Course comprises 3 x 9 hole loops (Garden, Desert and Dunes) each averaging 2,700m and with a slope rating of around 124 for the 3 combinations available.

The course was designed by the famous architect Belt Collins and has, in the past, hosted the Hassan II Trophy.

Situated to the south of Agadir (not far from the Soleil courses) it covers over 90 hectares of land and is planted with eucalyptus, broom, tamarisk and palm trees to which 4 lakes have been added.

Agadir, Soleil and Tikida

The Championship Course, host to the Ladies European Tour, Challenge Tour and EPD Tour, will satisfy the best players whilst still remaining playable for beginners. Wide fairways, well-defended greens and bunkers characterise this course. It's a technical course and undulates through a forest of eucalyptus.

Having played host to the 2011 Moroccan Open the Championship course is a good test of golf, with palm tree lined fairways and small target greens. The course is generally flat, so easily walked.

The Tikida course is shorter at less than 6,000 yards but the narrow fairways ensure accuracy rather than distance pays off.
